Ceramics

Ceramics courses begin with basic handbuilding and functional ceramics, including wheel throwing classes. Courses progress to intermediate- and advanced-level courses, in which students can refine their skills and work with additional glazing materials while developing a personal style. Work is fired in electric, gas, and raku kilns. The program has a liberal open studio policy, enabling students to work independently.
